What does Hue Doors Cart Code do?
It adds a discount-code field to supported Shopify cart pages and cart drawers without replacing the existing cart.
Does the app create discount codes?
No. Create and manage discount codes in Shopify Admin. Hue Doors Cart Code applies existing Shopify discount codes.
Can shoppers apply or remove a code before checkout?
Yes. Shoppers can apply eligible discount codes or remove them from the cart before checkout.
How are invalid or ineligible codes handled?
Shopify determines whether a discount code is eligible. Invalid, expired, or ineligible codes are not presented as successfully applied.
Will the cart total update?
The cart total updates after eligible discounts are applied. Availability and eligibility are determined by Shopify.
Does it work with cart drawers?
Yes, on supported themes. Enable the Cart drawer field app embed in the theme editor. Compatibility depends on the cart drawer implementation.
Does installation require editing theme files?
No. Add the theme app block or enable the app embed from the Shopify theme editor.
Does it store shopper-entered discount codes?
No. Shopper-entered discount codes are sent to Shopify from the storefront and are not stored by Hue Doors.
What is the planned Lite price?
The planned Lite price is USD 1.99 per month or USD 19.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial. Final terms appear in the Shopify App Store at launch.
