What does SafetyDocs Lite do?
It lets merchants manage and display product safety information, warnings, manufacturer and importer details, EU responsible person information, product identifiers, manuals, and certificate links per Shopify product.
Is SafetyDocs Lite only for EU selling?
No. It is designed for merchants in Japan and around the world. EU responsible person fields are optional and can be used when relevant to a product or market.
Does the app guarantee legal compliance?
No. SafetyDocs Lite is an information organization and display tool. Merchants remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance of the information they publish.
Where is the product information stored?
Safety information is saved to the Shopify product using product metafields. Shopify authentication session data is handled separately by the app infrastructure.
Does it use customer or order data?
Customer and order data are not required for the app’s core product-safety functionality.
How do I show the information on a product page?
Add the SafetyDocs Lite app block to the product template in the Shopify theme editor. Products with no safety content are not displayed.
